GYC members will have to pay a $20 deposit that will be reimbursed the day of the program.

Preregistration required! To register sign up in person or call (518) 531 - 4273. Paper work can be picked up at the GYC or printed from home using the link at the bottom of this page. Deposit is required to participate.
The Safe Sitter® Course teaches youth life and safety skills to prepare them when they are home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting. Participants will be trained in first aid, indoor and outdoor safety, and how to handle household emergencies.
Each participant will receive The Official Safe Sitter®
Babysitter’s Handbook along with an official Safe Sitter® completion card and a certificate of completion.
This is a full-day class, Greenwich Youth Center will be providing pizza lunch for all attendees.
The course will require kneeling on the floor for the first aid section of the course, so please dress appropriately and comfortably.
Electronic devices must be turned off during the class.
